Is there a way to reach the lake from triund? We comeback from indrahar and then would like to visit the lake. Any help on the route would be appreciated

Hi in this pic above the bended ridge in front is the entry from Triund…but owing to the season and the trail being Bear home region from Laka, we don’t recommend trekking to Kareri Lake via Triund or Laka….and also by now most of shepherds have retreated from that area and Kareri Lake….so either try from Dharamsala via Gehra Village total hours max can be 8 hrs(if started early in the morning by 7.30 HRTC bus for Ghera from ISBT) and or via Guna Mata Temple to Kareri Village and then Lake…but via Dharamsala is good…you’ll find woolens and woods for preparing food inside Temple sarai….
