Triund 2012 February this time there was very heavy snow fall in Triund and treks to
were covered under thick snow for about at least two month and even the Forest Department Rest House was also closed. Even in January 30th we could trek only up Magic View Café and beyond the cafe the treks were still covered under 3 foot thick snow and even trek up to Magic View Café was dangerously slippery. Mr Joginder the owner of Magic View Café had removed some of snow up to café and made it accessible.
– If you are touring Dharamsala and have done enough of travel and learning then go trekking to Triund and also volunteer for Nature by keeping it clean.
Mountain Cleaners were also involved in an annual pilgrimage trail to ManiMahesh home of Lord Shiva in Bharmour of Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh, India in the month of August and September. During these two months they clean the garbage thrown by pilgrims on the way to and in ManiMahesh.
With the cooperation of visiting volunteers and locals they bring the large amount of garbage all the way from ManiMahesh to Bharmour for proper disposal.
